And now a message from "The Coach":

Hey get down on all fours and hit em high and hard, this is Coach "Shiffty" Bissqueen. I promise this football season to be a good un, nor my name ain't Shiffty and it is. I done been given our boys hell, early this year. We been a workin' on this one play for about a month and by jingees I think we got it, well I got it at least.

Now I knowed we didn't win but one game lass year and it was on account of the Buggaloosah Buggs getting' lectrocuted just as they was kicking off to us. I'm glad it was a night game. They lit up real bright'n all. It shore smelt funny after they was all toasted up. Me and Mrs.Coach went out for barbeque after that. You know when you got that taste in your mouth you juss gotta go get you sum.

Slick Zaywicky's boy "Chimpy" is our quarterback this year again and I been trainin' that one eye he has. It shore likes to wander, justa rollin' round up in the socket. I pop him with a bat eva'now n' then and that eye settles down. He don't even mind me hittin' him none. He juss smiles and says "good morning, I likes my eggs scrambled". This year I promise to teach him how to run and forward too! Now he really don't knowed where forward is at. Well that's the second thing I'll teach him.

And for all you alumnuses don't forget homecomin'. Be proud and wear the gravey (yep, gravey's a color) and green and root for the Fredville Insane Chickens!

Don't forget to come to the pep rally over to the Gale Gutter Memorial Gym. The Fredville Fossilized Womens' Floral and Corral Club will sang that ol' fight song - "Our Insane Chickens Is Gonna Give You a Profane Lickin" - to really get us a goin'. Two of the four passed on lass year so we down to two and I gots this bet with Lonnie Zadszukker they won't make it over to the pep rally. He's bettin' that one will be there and I'm bettin' they both will be boxed up for shippin' on up to glory.

Don't forget homecomin' here in Fredville is special with some contests we always have during half-time. My all time favorite is the lawnmower blade catchin' contest. Remember my buddy Lonnie won it lass year. Yep and he don't flip me off wiff his right hand no more no sir, cause all that's left is his left.
